The US is the most popular destination for Chinese travellers, with a long history of visitors travelling to the US. To encourage tourists from the US to make the reverse journey, The China Tourism Office staged an event to celebrate China’s unique heritage. Their idea was to focus on the astonishing number of UNESCO World Heritage sites found within China.
The China Tourism Office came to Golden Arm to help maximise their goal to increase US travellers awareness about the potential for travelling to China.
Golden Arm planned and produced an event, creating a wide range of content including presentations, film and dance. We also created an interactive touchscreen gallery for the guests to delve deeper into China. Displayed within the room across four 80″ screens, we developed a web-based touchscreen application containing photos, audio and video of the 52 sites as well as detailed information relating to each of the 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We aimed to immerse the audience in the beautiful landscapes, differing cultures and abundant history of China.
